Weekend Luxe Bath & Body Ritual

Who doesn’t love unwinding after a tough week of work? I sure plead guilty! This is my favourite time of the week to relax and repair my body and soul, with a lot of luxury in the picture. I’ve tried and tested this ritual for weeks now and I must say; I love how I end up feeling and scenting after!

I am a strong believer in using nature’s best resources and a lot in my weekend ritual is consists of home-made DIY’s. All of them are included below!

I start by using my Olay Natural White – Cleansing Face Wash. This product is my absolute favourite to cleanse and exfoliate daily as it has miniscule scrubby particles.  Followed by Guerlain’s Terracotta Sun Scrub to do a final scrub to remove any excess dry skin. I end my face ritual with Soap & Glory’s Pore minimiser and step into my steaming hot bath.

*To scrub my lips, I make my mix of equal parts honey and caster sugar and use it to remove dry skin from my lips.

Lastly, I apply my Vitamin E Moisture Cream from The Body Shop. This is a new addition, so not much to say. It does the job!

In the hot bath, I keep the Pore minimiser on for 10 minutes to let the steam enter and clean my pores. I’ve recently started using The Body Shop’s Honeymania Bath Melt, which smells delicious, but not strongly honey scented. It’s a great scent for summer. This product is just very nice in the bath; it lathers up a lot and leaves a subtle scent at all times.

After the shower, I use my Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia body cream. I LOVE this stuff! The scent is very long lasting and the bottom notes of this scented body moisturiser lasts at least 6-8 hours after application. Combined with the matching Fragrance, this is just unbelievably sexy!

*I like delicate fragrances, and if you like strong scented stuff, this is not your cup of tea.

This is a new find for my highlighted hair. The Phytocitrus shampoo for coloured hair is very gentle and cleansing. The scent has a pleasant hint of mandarins, and the shampoo can be used daily.

I am also using Colour Restore to remove orange tones from highlighted hair! *Big Thumbs Up*

To shave, I use coconut oil on my legs and hands and that gives me a close shave and leaves my skin nourished and soft.

The Body Shop’s Peppermint Cooling Pumice Foot Scrub is good stuff! It definitely removes dead skin and leaves a cooling sensation to your feet. I also use this on my elbows, knees and underarms as I think, this stuff really does the job best in areas where there could be discolouration and a lot of acclimatised dry skin.

After the shower, I also apply the Peppermint Foot Spray, but that’s just for fun, Really!

Hope you guy’s liked this! Love to hear your feedback!

All products are from The Body Shop, Boots Pharmacy or Sephora outlets in UAE
