I say inspired, because she is truly one of a kind and replicating anything she wears or is, can only come close and never be exactly the same. I am a big fan of her music and her style. She is gorgeous and has a haunting voice. She is my ultimate idol and which is why doing this tutorial wasn’t easy. I hope y’all enjoy it anyways. Leave in the comments below which celebrity look you would like to see next.
Here is the technique:
- I used MAC Studio Fix NC 40 in the hollows of my cheeks and my temples (there are none, but you get the point :P) and Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in NC 15 in the centre of my face. This gave a more contoured definition to the face, which is Adele’s style. I also used Maybelline Fit Me Concealer under my eye in shade 10 light to add keep things bright.
- I sweeped my Guerlain bronzer over the MAC Studio Fix NC 40 to intensify the contour. Additionally I added Nars Orgasm on the apples of my cheeks, blending upwards. To finish of the skin, I set my makeup with Rimmel Stay Matte powder.
- For the eyes, I used the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette (If you would like to win it, click on my giveaway here). I put strange all over my lid up to the crease. Initially I started defining my crease by mixing the colours Limit and Nooner. Then for the tricky bit, I applied a flicky eye that was quite thick through out to support the length of the lashes. I suggest you watch a video on this, as it would require a visual demonstration. (Sorry!)
- Lastly, once I had applied the liner, I thought I needed more colour on my crease, so I sweeped Darkside to provide some more definition.
I really hope you enjoyed the tutorial and found it helpful.
