Diptyque La Collection 34 Launch and thoughts…

Fragrances, like people have layers, different notes of character, that develop over time, have a few awkward phases and yet, manage to come around to their balanced state (a.k.a their end note). This description goes to explain the new Diptyqie La Collection 34. Taking stories from their address 34 blvd st germain, Diptyque’s iconic first boutique, this collection explores the past, the passion and the personalities that developed this fragrance haven.

This week, they held a beautiful event at the JW Marritt Marquis in their Penthouse showcasing a quintessentially Diptyque La Collection 34. Bringing together a plethora of woody, spicy ingredients packaged in Personal, Home and Bazar. The personal collection features fragrances for the body, the home for the house and the bazar brings to life the objects that define Diptyque living. Want to know the breakdown of scents in this collection? Visit the Diptyque Paris website.

My take on the fragrance was – WOW, Christmasy! The Diptyque scents are always indulgent, the packaging too luxe to handle, this particular collection features deeper, stronger scents that define a winter’s tale and I LOVE IT. The perfume is not an easy one, it is entangled and complicated and the tones and hints change in time and on skin, like a unwrapped mystery. If you are the type who loves sophisticated packages, strong statement scents (that is long-lasting) and spicy, woody hints, this one is made for you.

Enjoy the images, let me know what you think about the quality as these were taken on the iPhone 6 and I’m loving the photography here. FullSizeRender FullSizeRender (7) FullSizeRender (6) FullSizeRender (4) FullSizeRender (3) FullSizeRender (2) FullSizeRender (1)
