Blogmas 20: How to: Devil-may-care smoky eye & Deadly Catch lips

This look screams PARTY! Smoky eye, bold lip and minimal skin, what more could you want… really?  333

Start by using the sticky tape trick from the corner of your eye angling outwards. Now, taking a mid-tone shade (I’ve used my Urban Decay Naked 3 shades in Nooner and Limit. You can use any mid-tone transition shade in the crease and start building the depth.

Now, using the NARS Eye Paint in Baalbek prime your lid taking it towards the end of the eye and on-to the tape, we want it to create that winged out effect. Now, taking the NARS Hardwired Eye Shadow in Gabon (A deep khaki shade with gold glitter), I set the eye paint. Just keep blending this part and you might need to take a dark brown shade to deepen the crease again. Keep doing that until you attain the desired effect. Add a black liner and smudge the line all over to add to that ‘devil-may-care’ smoky eye. Lastly, add the NARS Hardwired Eye Shadow in Opal Coast in the tear duct and below the brow bone. REMOVE THE TAPE 😀

For the lower lash-line, I smudged the black liner and some Gabon on top of it. Then apply, copious coats of my YSL Shocking Mascara and Voila!

For the lips, I’m wearing the Hardwired lipstick in Deadly Catch (full-review) with a touch of the NARS Soleil D’Orient Lip Gloss.

My face routine is quote similar to this routine here minus any blush, I had a lot going on so a bronzer was just the finishing touch I needed.
