So as the world was pledging their new fitness plans, having makeovers and starting new, guess what I was doing? Hauling, duh!
Here’s what I bought:
Sephora Pro Angled Contour Brush #75 – Okay, confession, I don’t actually use this for contouring, but I bet it will be amazing for that as well because of it’s angules. But, as a foundation brush, this is absolutely flawless! Use it for cream and WOW. I’d avoid it for liquid and water-based foundations as the brush will soak up most of the product.
Lancome Grandiose Mascara: I’ve heard Lisa Eldrigde speak about this mascara over and over again and I though, eh, let’s try it! Let’s just say, it’s not my style of wand. The product itself is amazing, only for natural days. If you want to build up and want slightly powerful lashes, this will not cut it. If you are after length and separation, go on, this will be a winner for you!
Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask: I LOVE this stuff. Full review here…
Urban Decay De Slick Spray: Urm, again, it hasn’t blown my mind yet, but I’m going to give it a fair try and report back!
Now, technically my haul should be over. But, I GOT SERIOUSLY LUCKY! I touched 4000 points on Sephora that day! So here’s what I was gifted:
Ciate Caviar Manicure: The concept of this manicure is great, but it isn’t the most practical. If you’re looking for a special manicure for a night-out, this may float your boat, or otherwise, I’ll pass.
Peter Thomas Roth Stem Cell Rose Mask: This one is a BEAUT. It definitely stands on the other end of the spectrum from the Ren one, as it focuses on moisturising and does it pretty darn well. On the pack, it says to leave it for 10 minutes on clean skin, but I have tried it as an overnight facial thing-ma-jiggy and it WORKS.
Sephora Rouge Infusion in Red: The HYPE is REAL. It glides easy, builds up from light to opaque and is such a pretty color. Very very comparable to YSL Glossy Stains, but a tad bit less glossy, which I don’t mind at all!
Sephora Mini Makeup Palette: This palette has 4 eye-shadows, 2 lipsticks and one blush. Truth be told, I had no expectations for this one, but I have to say, the lip-shades have got me hooked and the blush too. The quality is just darn amazing and not to mention the palette is adorable!
Tell me: How did you start your 2015?
