Cara Delevingne Inspired Make Up Tutorial

When I think of Cara Delevingne, I think of effortless beauty and androgynous style. The combination of femininity and devil-may-care attitude makes her a one-of-a-kind beaut. So I’m NOT going to look as breathtaking, but try anyway. Here’s a bonus post this week on my recent Instagram re-creation of this makeup.

It’s all about the crease build up here and I’m using my trusty Lorac Pro Palette. Using the Lorac Pro Prime, I primed my lids. Taking my M.A.C 217 blush on the flat side I used the shade Cream all over my lid. For my crease, I started with Mauve and Taupe, building 3 light layers and flicking the brush outwards, like Cara. Beware, if you have small eyes, do not bring out the eye shades too far out.  Now, use the shades Sable and Espresso lightly (very lightly) to deepen the crease. Take a fluffy brush and blend it all. Cara has used orangy bronze shades which are beautiful on her coloring, I prefer when my browns look neutral. You can just choose the muted shades you like and wing this look.

I’ve taken those dark shades and blended it on my lower lid as well to smoke the look out. Now, for the wing liner, just take a liquid liner (or whatever you are comfortable with) and using Amelia Liana’s trusty wing liner trick, go for it!

Lips – M.A.C Modesty Lipstick

For the brows – Go FULL ON! I’ve the Clarins Eye and Eyebrow Kit in the shade brown only. Using the gel from the kit, I’ve made my brows more unruly. That’s all, folks!
