DiorSkin Nude BB Cream – Review

For year now, I’ve seen Vivianna Does Makeup talk about the beaut that is the DiorSkin Nude BB Cream. Obviously, I fell prey to her spot-on, faff-free descriptions and the promises of good skin in tube jargon. Two weeks ago, whilst sprinting the mall with 3 of my girlfriends, I stepped on the Dior side. Now, I can’t seem to find my way back and for good reason!

When you first put it on, there’s an instant brightness to your complexion, like it just got injected with tons of radiance. It’s the Tiramisu to my tired skin. In fact, last week, I was in the office for over 15 hours daily and the effects of this product were noticeable even after 10 hours and that is something I applaud. The product is silky and glides easy. If you’re like me and need an idiot-proof application, this is it. You can’t go wrong with this stuff, you just can’t.

For the best ways to apply the BB cream, I’ve been using my fingers or a buffing brush. Do avoid stippling brushes or a beauty blender as it would soak up the product and let’s be honest, Dior ain’t cheap, why waste any?

Pro Tip: I chose the shade 001, even though my shade is probably 002, only because I love my subtle highlight and contour and instead of applying a foundation and adding the lighter and darker shades, I use a lighter base and build my bronze glow. This way, there’s minimal product usage and you don’t look like a cake-fest.

Now for a quick list of pros and cons:

Pros:

  • Good skin in a tube
  • Glow booster
  • Easy application
  • Travel Friendly

Cons:

  • Price
  • Only 3 shades

  1. This looks wonderful! I’ve dark spots on my skin left by healed acne. I wonder if this would conceal them. I’d appreciate if you let me know where did you get it from and how much did it cost??
