SIMPLE ICE CREAM RECIPE

I’m an ice-cream lover with a knack for cooking sans ice cream maker. So on my quest to make a simple, yet decadent ice cream at home, I started searching for recipes. All revolved around the principle of condensed milk and whipped cream, the rest is really up-to you! Ahh, finally a ray of sunshine (with a chance of ice cream, of course).

Base recipe
- 3/4-1 Cup Condensed Milk
- 2 Cups Fresh Whipped Cream
- 1 Tbsp. Vanilla Paste
I’d start with whipping the cream in a bowl. In a different bowl whisk together condensed milk and vanilla paste. The usual recipe calls for 1 cup condensed milk, but I found it a tad bit too sweet for my liking, so feel free to alter per taste. Start by adding 1 scoop of whipped cream and loosen the condensed milk mixture, add the rest and fold gently. If you’d like to add flavors, leave the last step till later.
Chocolate Ice Cream:
I added 1/2 cup of hershey’s chocolate chip and 1/4 cup of cocoa powder to the condensed milk/vanilla mixture. Fold in the rest of the cream and tadaa!
Tiramisu Ice Cream:
Add 100GMS of mascarpone to the condensed milk/vanilla mixture. Add a shot of espresso and 10-12 lady finger biscuits chopped up. Fold in the rest of the cream and enjoy!
Aren’t these recipes simple? Go on and make your own combination! I wanna see pictures.
